Background - Sollas, a family-owned
Dutch company, has established an enviable reputation of manufacturing
highly reliable packaging machinery.
Sales, R&D, final
assembly and after sales service are co-ordinated from the head-office in
Wormer, close to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam, and the international
airport Schiphol.
The manufacturing
facility is located in the eastern part of The Netherlands, near the
German border. Sollas also has its own branch offices in France, Germany
and United Kingdom. Backed by an extensive international network of some
50 agents and distributors worldwide, the technical and customer services
provide solid after-sales care and support.
The entire Sollas
organization comprises of 150 people.
With over a half a
century’s experience and supplying thousands of custom-designed
solutions, Sollas is setting new standards in packaging technology.
Sollas machinery is used
in a wide range of industries such as cosmetics/perfumery, pharmaceutical,
stationery, cards, digital-media, tobacco and food processing industry.
